News talk:WhiteWizard purges The Lining from Tapestries
Edit by concerned party
I reverted this edit because I think that the overall effect of them is to bias the thrust of the article quite strongly towards the editing party, and I do not believe that is at all appropriate. Moreover, this is a dated third-party news article - not a general wiki article about the topic - and it was published a month ago.
I will review the changes made when I get home later and see if there any "corrections" that really do demand change. The quote, in particular, could probably be extended if people feel that it's taken out of context. Several additions ("However, Y did not . . .", "Yet Y never . . .") seem to be based around party X's numerous opinions of what party Y should have done, and I feel those are rather less appropriate. We link such things as sources, or quote them; we should not repeat them in our own words as if it's something that we think.
For what it's worth, I did read all of the sources referenced while writing the original version. The choice of what to mention here was based on my view of its relevance and credibility - which may not be perfect, but is probably a better choice for a news article than that of concerned parties. --GreenReaper(talk) 21:08, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
- I say "I" above, however this is a wiki, so other non-involved parties are welcome to have a stab at it as well. Be aware that if one of the concerned parties asked you to do this, or otherwise directed you here, you may not be considered a non-involved party. --GreenReaper(talk) 21:18, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
