Vancouver Island Furs
The Vancouver Island Furs (VI Furs) is a group of furries residing on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Most live in Victoria, however there are quite a few furs living in Nanaimo and scattered throughout the island.
The group was defunct for a period of time, but a relatively new fur by the name of Torwin resurrected the group, their first meet consisted of four furs in a local house. By the next month, the numbers had doubled to 8 and at the Dec 6, 2008 meet had 10 furs present with 12 on the roster. They meet regularly at the Travelodge Nanaimo on the first Saturday of every month you can find most of them on the meets and get togethers area of furry.ca
Furries among the VI Furs include Torwin, Alan Tabby, Nightfox, Ruby, Bandit Fox,Tj Bluevulpine, Brasou, Pixel, Veekahr, Blarky, Frenchiphant, Drewdle, Runemist, Sawyer, and several others.
Other furries who consider themselves part of the group but do not (or no longer) live on the island include Dreamcatcher,Tamaska and RainRat.
