Moth Monarch

Moth Monarch, formerly known as Nyomi Naomh (real name Mary Capaldi; born December 26, 1989), is an artist and writer who currently lives in Canada. They are originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.[1][2][3] While the majority of their creations involve insects, including their primary character, they have also done a number of artworks that have included other creatures.[2][4][3] Moth Monarch joined the Anthrocon staff in 2016 as the artist responsible for the "Friends of Anthrocon" standee characters representing hotels and other convention partners.[5]

Moth Monarch is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in English.[1] Some of their works were previously published under "PhoenixBLUE Art."[1]

Moth Monarch is married to Cat-Monk Shiro.[6]
