Kine

Kine is a talking animal novel by A. R. Lloyd, first published by Hamlyn Paperbacks in October 1982 (ISBN 0600204677). Kine is the name of the main character, who defeats the Mink featuring as villains in the story. It was republished by Arrow in 1990 as Marshworld (ISBN 0099681609), volume one of The Kine Saga. The sequel, Witchwood (first published by F. Muller in August 1989) was also republished by Arrow in 1990; the third book, Dragon Pond, followed from Muller in August 1990 (ISBN 0099699303).
