Kigukemo (Japanese: きぐけも) is a furry convention which was held twice-yearly on Saturdays in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan.[1] The convention's name is a portmanteau of kigurumi and kemono. It is organized by QL Weasel (QLB_R on Twitter and TwiPla).

Events[edit]

  • Kigukemo 2 was held on June 4, 2011.[1] The event was free of charge.
  • Kigukemo 3 was held on January 7, 2012.[2] There was a ¥500 entry fee.
  • Kigukemo 4 was held on August 4, 2012.[3] The entry fee was ¥1,000.
  • Kigukemo 5 was held on February 2, 2013.[4] The entry fee was ¥1,000.
  • Kigukemo 6 was held on July 13, 2013.[5] There was a ¥1,000 entry fee.
  • Kigukemo 7 was held on February 1, 2014.[6] There was a ¥1,000 entry fee.
  • Kigukemo 8 was held on August 23, 2014.[7] The entry fee was ¥1,000. There were 91 attendees signed up from Twipla.[8]
  • Kigukemo 9 was held on February 14, 2015.[9] The entry fee was ¥1,000. There were 141 attendees signed up from Twipla.[10]
  • Kigukemo 10 was held on August 29, 2015,[11] at the Nagoya SME Promotion Center. The entry fee was ¥1,000.
  • Kigukemo 11 was held on January 1, 2016[12] The entry fee was ¥1,000.
  • Kigukemo 12 was held on July 23, 2016[13] The entry fee was ¥1,000.
  • Kigukemo 13 was held on March 18, 2017[14] The entry fee was ¥1,000.
  • Kigukemo 14 was held on July 29, 2017[15] The entry fee has increased to ¥1,500. 50 pre-registered on TwiPla.[16]
  • Kigukemo 15 was held on March 31, 2018.[17] The entry fee was ¥1,500. 41 of 60 pre-registered slots were claimed.
  • Kigukemo 16 was held on August 25, 2018.[18] The entry fee was ¥1,500. 60 of 60 pre-registered slots were claimed.
  • Kigukemo 17 is scheduled for March 30, 2019.[19] The entry fee was ¥1,500. 68 of 75 pre-registered slots were claimed.
