The Japan Meeting of Furries (JMoF) is a furry convention which is held annually in Japan.

JMoF was founded in 2012, with the aim of establishing the first furry convention at a hotel in Japan.[1] The con's programming includes workshops and seminars in acting, costume-building, art, and more.[1]

2013[edit]

The first Japan Meeting of Furries was held over January 12-14, 2013,[2] in Hikone, Shiga.[1]

There were 100 participants.[3]

2014[edit]

Japan Meeting of Furries 2014 was held over January 11-12, 2014, at the Loisir Hotel in Toyohashi, Aichi, Japan.[4] The theme was "The Fifty-three Stations of the Tōkaidō",[5] and the guest of honor was Yuko Asami.[6]

JMoF 2014 had 232 attendees.[7]

2015[edit]

Japan Meeting of Furries 2015 was held over January 10-11, 2015,[8] at the Loisir Hotel in Toyohashi, Aichi, Japan.[4]

JMoF 2015 had 408 attendees[9], and donated 262,950 JPY to Toyohashi zoo botanical park.[10]

2016[edit]

Japan Meeting of Furries 2016 was held over January 8-10, 2016,[11] at the Loisir Hotel in Toyohashi, Aichi, Japan.[4]

JMoF 2016 had 588 attendees and donated 418,600 JPY to Toyohashi zoo botanical park.[12]

2017[edit]

Japan Meeting of Furries 2017 is scheduled for January 6-8, 2017,[13] at the Loisir Hotel in Toyohashi, Aichi, Japan.[4] The guest of honor will be Hiroshi Matsuyama.[14]
