Ixis is the character of Rebecca McIvor, a fursuiter from Scotland.

[edit] Appearance
Ixis stands at around 5'5 and weighs 140 pounds. She has royal blue fur with white accents. Her face is mostly feline, resembling a large cat, with featureless white eyes. On her forehead is a large stone embedded into her skull. Her mouth is barbed with sharp pointed teeth to assist in catching fish. Her ears are very large and sit at either side of her head. She has long, soft, white headfur that falls around her shoulders. On top of her head are two sharp, short spiral shaped horns. She has large bat-like wings with black membrane. She has modified paw-like hands with short digits and a small thumb, with large retractable claws. Her hind legs end in cloven hooves. She has no tail.

Ixis is a created anthropomorphic creature comprised of the DNA of hundreds of different animals, including human. The resulting species is named a "Wyvern" after the mythological creature. All Wyvern that are created are genetically programmed to expire after a certain time has elapsed as a safety measure, which can be discerned from the number of stripes on their horns. Wyvern are born fully developed and with adult bodies. Ixis' total lifespan is 8 years, and she is currently 2 years old.
An unwanted side-effect of the specific animal DNA used in the creation of Ixis resulted in her being born with psychic powers, which emanate from the stone on her forehead. She can speak telepathically and read thoughts, as well as being able to mentally manipulate and control others. This discovery led her creators to attempt to euthanize her, until she escaped from the facility.
[edit] Language and Personality
Ixis possesses the same level of intelligence as the average human. When speaking normally, she speaks with a stunted English vocabulary, often mis-pronouncing words or substituting others. When speaking telepathically she speaks textbook English in a largely monotone "voice."
Ixis understands little of societal values, other than what she has been taught. She acts childishly with small periods of composure. She has a relatively short temper. She spends much of her time harvesting information from the minds of others in order to learn, and sometimes copies personality traits from others. She will sometimes question someone on something they've thought or held in memory.
She has a weakness for shiny or glittery objects.
[edit] Combat
When attacking, Ixis uses her claws to rake and rams with her horns. She can mentally control her opponent to injure themselves or cause powerful hallucinations to convince her opponent that they can't move, have shrunk to the size of a doll or have even turned to stone, and rob her opponent of basic senses and motor functions, or cause them to become unconscious, however these abilities are extremely flawed and often don't work depending on how well mentally guarded her opponent is.
