Iveechan on the Internet

Iveechan's character was created by Katelyn L. in the spring of 2000. It is a hybrid of Ivysaur, Eevee, and Hitmonchan and is of the Grass/Fighting type. She began her Internet adventures in AOL chatrooms where she showed off her art, roleplayed, and generally mingled with other Pokémon fans. This allowed her to get some exposure and begin to build a small fanbase.

Around 2001, Iveechan began to join various Pokémon forums, mainly in anticipation of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire which had yet to be released. She gained even more friends and fans, some she still talks to today.

Finally in 2003, Iveechan joined the popular deviantART, and she finally had a stable place to submit her art and stories (she did have a personal website, but it's constantly on hiatus because she's both indecisive and has no skill with HTML).

Controversy

Spoon in Eye!

Iveechan has been involved with drama, mostly caused by her pregnancy/childbirth fixation and tendency to draw human-shape Pokémon (like Hitmonchan and Machoke) without breasts. She will also sometimes draw emo pictures or hate art.

Iveechan was also prone to drama when she used to visit Pokémon forums more often, ranging from topics such as gay marriage rights to what animals Pokémon represent. However, she was never banned.
