This article is about a personal artists challenge. For the FC event, see Iron Artist.

Iron Artist is a non-standard personal challenge for some graphic artists. It usually includes producing a greater than usual quantity of images over pre-defined period of time.

The most common challenge are 100 images drawn over a period of about three months, meaning one picture per day at least.

Based upon this premise every artist varies this challenge. Some do commissions (which are usually inexpensive sketches) while others stick to a list of themes or a predefined set of characters.

Bronze Artist[edit]

A closely related term, bronze artist, includes the notion that the artist actually does this challenge to earn money, doing all of the pictures as commissions or selling the produced images at conventions.[citation needed]
