I-CON

I-CON is the Northeast's largest annual convention of science fiction, fact, and fantasy and is held at State University of New York at Stony Brook on Long Island, in Suffolk County, New York. I-CON is jointly held by ICON Science Fiction, Inc., a tax-exempt educational foundation, and the I-CON Campus Chapter of Stony Brook.

[edit] Programming and anthropomorphic fandom

Since its founding in 1982, I-CON has become a very eclectic fan convention. The programming includes subjects normally found at a variety of other conventions, ranging from speeches by science fiction authors to anime to film to gaming to medieval reenactment to furry fandom.

The Anthropomorphics Track at I-Con is organized by co-track-leaders Jon Cornetto and JBadger. Dr. Samuel Conway (aka. Uncle Kage) has been a regular centerpiece of I-CON's anthropomorphic programming since 2003. Past anthro guests have included:
