hukka

hukka (born 19 January 1983) lives in Salo, Southern Finland. He vaguely regards himself as a furry lifestyler, being of the wolf phenotype, and has been in the fandom since the summer of 1999. His alias was WolfZone in the early days, but it was changed to hukka soon after. hukka's major interests include composing music and programming.
Since there are other Hukkas in the furry fandom, hukka may also go by the name "hukkax" when an unique name is required.

hukka mostly composes techno (minimalistic, Detroit, acid) and experimental electronic music, with the occasional melodic chiptune thrown in. While he does occasionally use animal names as the titles of his songs, his music can't be for the most part classed as especially "furry".
hukka has been composing music since around 1993, starting on the Amiga 500 computer using tracker programs. Nowadays he mostly uses Ableton Live on a modern PC, although he is still into trackers and occasionally composes chiptunes using Impulse Tracker. He has also dabbled with music on the Commodore 64 and VIC-20 computers.
hukka has always been interested in DJ'ing, but still hasn't managed to buy actual decks to mix with. Thus he has been mixing with his own deejaying software, Decks, formerly known as Yiff DJ.
hukka has not yet released any of his music commercially.
