Hug (Hugs) is a term with multiple meanings in relation to furry fandom.

Definitions

• General: As a popular greeting, a form of physical intimacy, or as a way to comfort someone during a period of distress

• MUCKs: The "hug" command shows a message describing what members see when a someone is "hugged," and sometimes triggers a programmed action. Members may customize their "hug" responses.

• Plushie: As a term used to describe a huge collection of Teddy Bears an/or other stuffed animals.
