Howloween 2019
Howloween 2019 will be the seventeenth iteration of Howloween. It is to take place from November 1-2, 2019 and its theme is Robot Rebellion[1]. Hosted at the Executive Hotel Burnaby
Event had 373 attendees[2]
Dance Comp winners were[3] 1st: Waffle Dragon 2nd: Ro Ro Ro 3rd: Dr. Doctor
This was the first time the audience had the ability to vote for the winner of the dance comp. The results of the audience vote were Ro3 in first, Dr. Doctor in second, and Beast of The Feast in third. These scores were combined with the judge's scores to get the final result.
This is the first year Howloween had pre-registration available online before the event and reached over 150 pre-registered attendees.[4] They added Sponsor(Werewolf) and Patron(Kaiju) level registration tiers with Kaiju getting an LED acrylic standee made by Trapa and art by Temrin [5]
They had an artist alley again this year.[6]
