Howloween 2011

Howloween 2011 occurred the weekend of November 5-6, 2011.
Two notable changes this year included the move to a new larger location, the Executive Hotel & Conference Centre in Burnaby, and the expansion of Howloween from one to two days’ worth of events. Due to Howloween sharing the same convention space where VancouFur would be staged four months later, the event served as a dress rehearsal for the latter. The two-day schedule would be jettisoned the following year in favor of a return to the one-day format.
The theme for 2011 was "Ghosts and Spirits".[1]
- Rather than proceeding Howloween, the traditional follow-up bowling at REVs actually preceded events on Saturday afternoon.
- Howloween 2011 began with a dance on Saturday at 7:30PM and ending at 1AM.
- Events that normally preceded the dance occured on Sunday afternoon, beginning at 10am and ending at 3pm.
