House Rancourt was a web community run by Justin and Stacie Carpenter, featuring a high proportion of furry content. It featured the primary art and text galleries of Justin Carpenter, Tim "Ravenwolf" Johnson, Traveller Blues and Alopex Sigma, as well as secondary galleries for Toy Dragon in Blue, Tremaine and Black Shanglan, a shared creative Wiki for the works of its hosted talent, and a community-specific forum and The American Riviera MUCK.

In March 2007, House Rancourt's hardware failed, and the executive decision was made not to reopen the site once the hardware was repaired. The Bauhaus family of web sites were launched in its place instead, offering more individual web sites to the hosted talent, without the "umbrella" of the House Rancourt logo and visual theme.
