Horse Pie is a fiction book by Dick King-Smith, illustrated by Valerie Littlewood. It was first published in 1993 by Doubleday as a hardcover with the ISBN 038540414X.[1]
In Horse Pie, Jenny, an old donkey, is compassionately given a place in an Old Horses' Home (there was no room at the Donkey Sanctuary). With the help of the pony Alfie and the other old horses and ponies, Jenny prevents rustlers from stealing the three well-fleshed horses: two Shires and a Suffolk Punch.
