Guardians of Order
From WikiFur, the furry encyclopedia.
Guardians of Order was a publishing company based in Canada which primarily published roleplaying games (they went out of business in 2006). Their best-known product is Big Eyes Small Mouth (BESM), an anime RPG which can use either their own Tri-Stat system or the d20 system.
While not specifically a furry publisher, they have released several furry-related supplements for BESM:
- Big Ears Small Mouse: BESM's talking animal supplement
- BESM Fantasy: rules for 'classic fantasy' creatures, including as characters; multiple books include variations.
- Cold Hands, Dark Hearts: play a villain or supernatural monster
- Cute and Fuzzy Seizure Monsters (or "Cute and Fuzzy Cockfighting Seizure Monsters"): play a Pet Trainer or Pet Monster, as in Pokémon or Digimon, et al.
- Uresia, Grave of Heaven: An anime-style fantasy RPG created by S. John Ross. Although not its primary focus, he included many furry elements in the background to please the furry fans in his audience.
Also of note is that their primary example of character creation and rules use is a tiger-like catgirl character, who also features on the GM screen they sold.
