Gender
From WikiFur, the furry encyclopedia.
Gender refers to the socially constructed roles, behavior, activities and attributes that a particular society considers appropriate for men and women.
Although gender is popularly used interchangeably with sex (male or female biology), or more recently with "sexual orientation" and "identity" (including LGBT), historically, within the social sciences, including political economy, it refers to specifically social differences,[1]. People whose gender identity feels incongruent with their biological sex may refer to themselves "Transgender".
