Furspots is a defunct furry social networking site. Following a Site Update posted to the LiveJournal community on October 18, 2009[1], there was a prolonged silence from the site's owners, who decided in early 2013 to put the site on indefinite hiatus by creating a static page with a data-export tool. As of May 2013, the furspots domain returns HTTP 500 errors.

Proposed features[edit]

Site features were to include the ability to host multiple characters under a single profile, each with its own blog and profile, with the potential to provide restricted access to each profile to friends.[2] Automatic registration through any OpenID site (such as LiveJournal) and integration with ArtSpots and Blue Taboo was also planned.
