Furscape is a role-playing MUCK - based on the ProtoMUCK server - that is set 200 years from today, in a multi-planetary, hard SF universe. Humans don't exist anymore and the Earth is uninhabitable. The population consists of recoms (including chakats and skunktaurs) and a few alien species (including kirru, K'tauk'tau, irbis, and skiltaire), spread over a number of planets.

For the past few years Furscape has seen little traffic with only one or two characters signed on at any one time, most of whom were perpetually idle. During its hey day, Furscape was considered one of the most advanced MUCKs due to its support of ANSI color, solar zones and advanced vehicle programs.
