Furs Upon Malaysia (FURUM) is an annual furry convention held in Selangor, Malaysia since 2015.

The convention's mascots are Slappy The Tiger and Sunny The Bear.[1]

Slappy The Tiger[edit]

Slappy is a Malayan tiger. She likes to swim by paddling with her giant pair of paws. She wears a Hibiscus flower on her head.

The Malayan tiger is the National Animal of Malaysia, and the convention's logo derives from a (possibly different) Malayan tiger.

Sunny The Bear[edit]

Sunny is a sun bear. He is adventurous, likes travelling, enjoys nature and goes jungle trekking whenever he has the chance. His other hobbies are hiking, camping, and eating. He wears a blue scarf on his head.

Furs Upon Malaysia 2015[edit]

The first Furs Upon Malaysia convention took place over December 19-20, 2015,[1] at the Mines Wellness Hotel in Balakong, Selangor, Malaysia. [2] It was Malaysia's first furcon.

The theme was "Cuti-cuti Malaysia", and the guest of honour was Silverfox5213. There was a total of 86 attendees with 23 fursuiters joining the parade.[3]

Furs Upon Malaysia 2016[edit]

The second Furs Upon Malaysia convention was held over December 10-11, 2016, at the Shah's Village Hotel in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.[5]

The theme was "Tropical Paradise", and the guest of honor was Cheetahpaws. The final attendee count was 132; 44 were fursuiters.

Furs Upon Malaysia 2017[edit]

The third Furs Upon Malaysia convention was held on December 9-10, 2017, at the Hotel Armada, also in Petaling Jaya.[6]

The theme was "Back to School!", and the guest of honor was JC. The attendee count was 195; 72 were fursuiters.

Furs Upon Malaysia 2018[edit]

The fourth Furs Upon Malaysia convention was held on December 8-9, 2018, at Hotel Armada.[7]

It was themed "Making magic", and the guest of honor was Ben-Ben. The attendee count was 287; 92 were fursuiters.

Furs Upon Malaysia 2019[edit]

The fifth Furs Upon Malaysia is scheduled for December 14-15, 2019 at Hotel Armada, with Uncle Kage as the guest of honor. It will be themed "Robot Apocalypse". There will also be a special appearance by Foxamoore.[8]
