[edit] History
From 2006 to sometime in 2007, Furry United was an internet community with recent additions being added, including a unrated gallery where furs could upload everything from clean furry art to cub yiff, snuff/violent, watersports, scat/messy, plush, ect. In all categories such as gay, straight, fantasy, ect. It use to go under the motto, "One Paw for All." In August 2007, the website redirected to a set of forums and an alpha game engine. After that, the domain vanished.
[edit] Ning
On 1 October, 2008, one year after the original FurryUnited.org disappeared, Zenon Tigerpaw decided to create his own social network going under the same name. The new site was hosted by Ning.
On April 16, 2010, Ning announced they will be shutting down their free services. Zenon announced plans to move the service to a new host as soon as possible, ultimately recommending Furry 4 Life or the MyFur Network. The site was closed on October 21, 2010.
