Furry Ski Weekend is an annual furry skiing event held at Copper Mountain, Colorado, U.S.A., with a focus on skiing/snowboarding, fursuiting, and friends (both new and old). (About)

FSW was the first furry skiing/snowboarding event. Similar have since been created, and FSW has always made an effort to support and coordinate with them. FSW photographs have appeared in the photo book Weird Sports 3. A video has also been posted to the Teton Gravity snowsports blog.

History[edit]

  • 2006: An unofficial gathering of five furs went skiing/snowboarding in fursuit that would inspire the creation of FSW.
  • 2007: Tek, Dire, and Tuaolo created and held the first Furry Ski Weekend.
  • 2020: FSW was able to be held before the spread of Covid-19 and the subsequent lockdowns
  • 2021: FSW was canceled due to Covid-19
  • 2023: Tuaolo retired from FSW and his role was filed by Wiley
