Furry Night, or FN, is the first furry rave party to happen in Argentina, taking place at Farfalla's Theater in CABA, Buenos Aires.

Furry Night's first edition took place on December 8th, 2018 with 86 attendees.^[1] The next event is planned for October 2019.

The first Furry Night also led to the creation of Sin Bozales (Telegram, Facebook), a series of monthly meets held every second Sunday.^[2]

History[edit]

Everything started on August 4th, 2018, during a furmeet, in which we decided to celebrate all our friends' December birthdays with one big furry party.

And so planning began; we started looking for a place to rent, consoles and computers to play games, plus other activities, until it became a bigger and public event.

That's how the big ball of ideas started taking shape and in less than three weeks we created the event: "FurryNight".

In October 13th Patas Arriba gave us a space to talk about the event during the transmission of it's bi-weekly stream.

Mascots[edit]

Furry Night has a mascot: Rey the Coatí

Programming[edit]

Furry Night planned to host several activities, including:

Opening and Closing Ceremonies
Fursuit Parade
Fursuit Games
Dance Competition for both fursuiters and non-fursuiters
Gaming Room (LAN party, tabletop games, twister, limbo)
Photoshoot
Rave

The gaming and the rave definitely occurred, but it is not clear that all of these did (or did on time) since in the words of the organizers "everyone was having so much fun with what they were already doing, we felt it wasn't necessary to interrupt".^[1]

Staff[edit]

2018 staff included Sein Kraft, YoshiWinter, Auster Aussie, Mocaccino (Valentín Mendoza Bari), Dylan and artist Kit.^[3]

2019 year staff included Sein Kraft, YoshiWinter, Auster Aussie, Mocaccino (Valentín Mendoza Bari), Dylan , artist Kit , Akiannakat , DeitoArts , Blue and Volunteers Harsh , Azarius .^[4]
