Furloween 2006
Furloween 2006 (also called Furloween VIII) was held on October 28, 2006 in Orlando, Florida. The theme for 2006 was "Oh yes, there will be blood paws."
Lodging was available at the Best Western Orlando East Inn & Suites.
Banquet and dance[edit]
Hosted again at the Orlando Elks Lodge, Furloween 2006 included a fully catered banquet dinner and dance. Attendees were required to RSVP by October 21 to ensure admission to the banquet's buffet service, which included carved roast beef and chicken picata. A cash bar was available to guests over 21.
Full membership at the door was $30, regardless of whether the attendee signed up for the buffet.
T-shirt[edit]
Black t-shirts with a glow-in-the-dark design were available for $15 at the event.
Additional events[edit]
The local fursuiters also went trick-or-treating at the Waterford Lakes Town Center mall in East Orlando.
