Fritzy Wolf
Fritzy Wolf is a 19 year old gay male, gray wolf living in the Chicago suburb of Winfield. His history with the furry fandom dates back to approximately September 2004, when Fritzy discovered his first furry forum, Yiffstar, and took interest. However his interest in animalism and anthropomorphics dates back much further. For some years before discovering the furry fandom, Fritzy took interest in Chocobos and fancied himself a character as one. Fritzy's history with LAFF however, dates back to approximately November 2004, wherein Fritzy first joined the mailing list and attended his first furry convention, Midwest Furfest. Also in November of 2004, shortly after MFF, Fritzy met Circa Fox, a Michigan fur. The two have been together ever since, and on January 1st 2007 at the LAFF New Years party, Fritzy proposed to Circa. Fritzy spent the summer of 2007 living with Circa and his mother in Pinckney, Michigan. The two hope to find an apartment together sometime in early 2008.

Fritzy represents himself as Fritzy Wolf, a male gray wolf of approximately the same age as him. His bloodline is 7/8 wolf, and 1/8 coyote. His most identifying mark is the three dark gray stripes on his muzzle, alternating from right, to left, to right. He also has white chin, chest fur, and tail tip, a dark gray right foot paw, light gray left foot paw, and diamond markings on his forearms and back. Also dark gray cheek and shoulder patches, brown eyes, and dark head fur. This fursona has evolved slightly since it's original creation in 2004, however it has always maintained the the gray wolf species and the 3 alternating muzzle stripes.

Fritzkrieg is Fritzy's superhero alter-ego, who harnesses the power of lightning. His arch-nemesis is Ransom, who uses fire.
[edit] Fursuiting
Fritzy began his fursuiting career with nothing more than a tail. His first tail, made in 2004 by Ecostar Wolf, was used for three years before Fritzy finally made a new one for himself.
In more recent months (as of 2007) Fritzy has taken an interest in more complete fursuiting. In 2006 Fritzy and Circa Fox worked together to build their first fursuit for Circa. The suit was a yellow fox partially consisting of a head, hand paws, and a tail. Shortly thereafter, Fritzy began work on his own fursuit. Using built-up foam construction in a method commonly known as the toaster-head technique, Fritzy carved his own fursuit head. However, due to lack of materials, funding, and dedication, upon completion of the carving, the head remained untouched and unfinished for nearly a year.
It wasn't until Fritzy met up with Lucky Coyote in 2007 that the head was finally completed. Lucky finished all the furring and detailing of Fritzy's head, and Fritzy soon plans to finish his own paws and feet. During the summer of 2007, Fritzy worked together with his mate Circa to turn the latter's partial suit into a full one, debuting initially at Anthrocon, and again with revisions later that year at Mephit Furmeet.

Since joining the fandom, Fritzy has taken a large interest in anthropomorphic artwork, and has thusly decided to take it upon himself to try and create some of his own. Fritzy has been drawing furries for about 3 years, and is slowly but consistently developing and bettering his style. Almost all of Fritzy's artwork before 2007 was done in ink and Prismacolor Pencils. Since 2007 however, Fritzy has been using mostly Prismacolor Markers with Prismacolor Pencil accents. Fritzy has also been known to work in chalk pastel, usually on a large scale, however such pieces are only done on special request and take some time to complete. Fritzy is always open for art trades, commissions, and conbadges.

Beyond his Furry artwork, Fritzy also studies a variety of other subjects ranging from abstract collages to nature illustration to still life. Examples of this work is not available online, nor is it ever really seen by anyone. Fritzy tends to keep such pieces stashed under his bed, as they are mostly for development of style, technique, and observational skills. Fritzy does these pieces in a wide variety of mediums, charcoal being likely the most prominent. The majority of Fritzy's non-anthropomorphic art, however, resides in the medium of architecture, which he studies at great lengths at the College of DuPage.

Fritzy takes a very avid and professional interest in poetry. He began writing in 2004, and has since never stopped. Very little if any of Fritzy's poetry reflects the furry fandom, instead focusing its direction on other important and influential parts and observations of Fritzy's life. In his Junior year of High School, Fritzy joined the school's literary review club, Déjà Vú. This club was a forum for reviewing and discussing student poetry, and greatly spurred and encouraged Fritzy's early poetic development. By his Senior year, Fritzy was co-chair of the club. Around this time Fritzy also met Morris Stegosaurus, a Chicago fur very active in the poetry scene. Fritzy has taken a great deal of inspiration and encouragement from Morris, and began attending a monthly poetry and spoken-word venue in Chicago called the Urban Sandbox. More recently Fritzy has been unable to attend the Urban Sandbox due to scheduling conflicts, but has never stopped writing. Up-to-date archives of his work can be found in his poetry-only livejournal, Poetaster_Fritz.
[edit] Fritzy Wolf and babyfurs
In 2006, Fritzy's mate Circa came out to him as a babyfur. Originally taken slightly aback, Fritzy has since learned to love and embrace this special part of the furry fandom. Fritzy's relationship as caretaker to his mate has strengthened and expanded their relationship, and he now greatly enjoys the caretaker role. Fritzy has only experimented slightly with ageplay himself, and is still unsure if playing a cub role is right for him. Fritzy has recently become more adept at drawing babyfur artwork, and is now available for cub style commissions.

Fritzy also takes interest in such things as Apple computers, DDR/ITG, and outdoor camping. In the world of computers Fritzy swears a strict allegiance to Apple, and has been using them since he first learned to type. His first computer was an Apple IIe, later a Macintosh Performa, then an original Bondi Blue iMac G3. He now proudly owns an iMac G5. Fritzy hopes to soon acquire a PowerBook when budget allots for it. Fritzy has been playing DDR for a few years, and has now worked himself up to 8-10 level difficulty. He has recently taken to creating his own songs in Step Mania, and plays them on the In the Groove 2 arcade machine. Fritzy was also a member of the Boy Scouts of America since he joined Tiger Cubs as a child. He worked his was up the ranks and ended his scouting career as a Life Scout, only steps away from Eagle. Near the end of his scouting career Fritzy outed himself about his homosexuality, and had issues maintaining his standing and dropped out of the program. However he holds no resentment toward the BSA, as it has presented him with a plethora of knowledge and life experience he would have been hard pressed to gain elsewhere. He has been on 5 high adventure trips, including a trail camp in West Virginia, the Boundary Waters of Minnesota, Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico twice, and the Essex 2005 international Jamboree in Essex, England. Fritzy hopes to one day return to Philmont as a trail ranger one summer.

Early on, Fritzy took very little interest in the musical arts. During middle school he played the trumpet, and later the euphonium, but quit band after his first semester of high school. Around this time, Fritzy
It wasn't until meeting his mate Circa Fox that Fritzy can truly to be said to begin expanding his musical horizons. It was Circa whom introduced Fritzy to Classic Rock, giving him a new appreciation, great admiration, and respect for the genre. Fritzy, resultantly, has since began listening to as much 60's, 70's, and 80's Rock as he can get his paws on.
Amongst his favourite bands are The Doors, Van Halen, Mötley Crüe, and Styx, to name just a few. Fritzy has expressed a general dislike for most modern music. While there are some modern bands he finds appealing, very little of it moves and empowers him like the classic guitar riffs of yore.
Fritzy has extended this musical interest into his fursona, and done Rock music themed pictures and requested commissions. Fritzy is rarely seen without his iPod, and can almost always be found listening to his classical rock playlist. His iPod currently sports over 3,500 songs, and the collection continues to grow.

Fritzy attends Midwest Furfest and Mephit Furmeet. He has also attended Ohio Morphicon, Anime Central, and Anthrocon. In 2007 Fritzy hosted the Iron Artist panel at MFM, and plans to host it at MFF.

Fritzy currently lives with his mother and mentally handicapped brother Michael in Winfield, Illinois. Fritzy's father passed away in 2004, and his other brother Thom lives separately.

Fritzy is a Pre-Architecture student at College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.

Fritzy has in the past worked as a Camp Counselor for 2 years at Camp Napowan in Wild Rose, Wisconsin. His longest held job was as a Produce Clerk/Cashier for Dominick's Grocery store. He held this job for 15 months before quitting to move to Michigan, wherein he attained a job as a rehabilitation assistant in a program that services mentally handicapped individuals in the community. This job was short lived, however, for when the end of the summer came Fritzy resigned and moved back to Illinois. Fritzy currently works as a freight unloader at a Kohl's department store and as an architectural draftsman for DraftPro.
