A forum, most commonly known as an Internet forum, also known as a message board, in terms of computers and the Internet, is a web based bulletin board.
Forums and furry
As its mainstream counterparts, furry forums can be used for information dissemination, discussions, socialization, furry media showcase, or roleplay between members.
With most forums, you are required to sign up before you can participate, however some forums will allow a person who is not signed up to view (most) entries.
Most furry community, such as Fur Affinity, will have their own forums, integrated, or separated, in case of the main site goes offline. The norm of the furry forum is an standalone entity (see UKFur.org).
