Forum:Hotlinking to images?

Looking at the recent changes made to the article on Frostscar prompts me to ask: What is wikifur's policy regarding images? Is hotlinking to them - as has been done here - acceptable, or should images only ever be used in articles when they have been uploaded to wikifur in the usual way? --Higgs Raccoon 02:47, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
- I don't see any benefit to hotlinking rather than uploading, only downsides. Maybe it would be acceptable on a User page, if uploading wasn't practical for some reason. --Rat 07:03, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
