Fire Bringer is a novel written by David Clement-Davies, first published in the United Kingdom in 1999, and later in paperback by Firebird (ISBN 0142300608). It tells the story of Rannoch, a buck born to a herd of deer on the night his father is murdered where power games and intrigue have overtaken good. Rannoch escapes the herd and must grow up and learn on his own. Eventually, he must return to his herd of origin to face his destiny.
