FursuitTV is an online broadcast, lead by Timduru, that first aired on Saturday, March 4th, 2006, and is dedicated to the spreading of old and new fursuit-themed videos for the enjoyment of fursuit fans. The shown material includes commercials, videos of furry conventions, and other media appearances where fursuits are shown. Often, the source of the video is referenced at the start of the clip by a caption at the top of the screen.

The program is broadcast in the form of a webcast, accessible from the streams section of the main website. The site also lists the date when the show will be broadcast, and the time when the first broadcast will begin. After the initial showing, the program repeats itself several times until the next day. New episodes are broadcast on the night of the first Saturday of each month, and are then made available for download from an archive a few days later.

[edit] Music

Music plays a major part of the broadcasts. Episodes 1, 2, and 3 have featured the song My Eyes Are Dry by Scooter as the introduction song, and episodes since have featured a fully instrumental introduction. Thus far, all episodes have ended with a montage of various video clips set to the song Ecstasy by ATB. In addition to plentiful clips of music videos and dances at conventions, some clips have songs played as background music.

[edit] IRC

A live broadcast often corresponds with a spike in attendance at the FursuitTV IRC channel, #Fursuittv, on the Anthrochat network. Attendance is highest during the first showing, and drops during subsequent showings. The channel is run by Timduru and Num8, mostly during the first 2 showings of the show. At times other than that of the live broadcasts, the channel tends to be empty.
