Eurofurence 12 (also known as Eurofurence XII) was a European furry convention that took place from 23 to 27 August 2006 at Nuremberg, Bavaria in Germany. A record 405 participants attended the event, which was again hosted at Nuremberg Castle.
Guest of Honor[edit]
The Guest of Honor for 2006 was furry artist Dark Natasha.
Trivia[edit]
- The theme for the 2006 Eurofurence was "The Hounds of Blackwhite Castle".
- Olven and TaniDaReal were the winners of the popular vote for the T-shirt design contest.
- Anthrocon chairman Dr. Samuel "Uncle Kage" Conway was quoted: “EF kicks ass! In fact, there is not enough ass in the entire U.S. for this con to kick!”
- The convention received press coverage by the NordBayern Infonet.[1]

While these were the “key” members of the staff, there were many more volunteers that helped to make the convention a success by doing such tasks ranging from setting up the stage and art show to teardown.
