Elden (c. August 7, 1990[citation needed] - July 29, 2012) was a furry from California, USA, who dated Wolfgem. His fursonas were a wolf/canine and a Pandox (panda/fox).

Death[edit]

Elden and Wolfgem were struck on the night of July 16, 2012 by a hit and run driver,[1] while walking Wolfgem's four Australian Cattle Dogs. He was able to push his girlfriend out of the way of the collision.[2]

Elden suffered a severe amputation of the leg upon impact, a pelvis that was split in two, as well as numerous internal injuries. It was from complications of these injuries that Elden succumbed to two weeks later.[3]

Paul William Walden, the man who hit Elden and Wolfgem, was caught three days after the incident, driving under the influence in the same car.[4] On January 10, 2013, Walden pleaded Not Guilty to the murder charge for Elden and the enhancement charge of Great Bodily Injury for Wolfgem.

In 2014, Walden was found guilty and sentenced to 25 years to life.[2]
