Ed Zolna was the owner of Mailbox Books, a mail-order comics and 'zine distribution company

History[edit]

Ed Zolna started Mailbox Books in the early 1990's. For all of the 1990's, Mailbox Books was the primary source in furry fandom for comics, 'zines, portfolios, and the like. Ed was a guest of honor at ConFurence 6, held in 1995.

In April, 1999, Ed got out of the comics business and sold the Mailbox Books name (but not the inventory) to Sean Rabbitt. The inventory (80-odd boxes of it) was sold off through Matt Henry's Bronzebear Media Distribution.

In July, 2003, Ed started a new comics distribution business, Second Ed Mailorder.
