Donald Jacob Uitvlugt (born March 22)[1] is a furry writer. He grew up in Western Michigan, U.S.A., and lives in Central Arkansas with his wife and dog.[2]

Donald's preferred writing genre is fantasy, though he also writes horror and science fiction, and loves stories that stretch, cross, and/or break genre lines.[3]

Many of Donald's stories feature animals, and he has two starring anthropomorphic characters.[3] The first is the fantasy story "Irula's Apprentice", which appeared in Reynard's Menagerie. The other is a science fiction story strongly influenced by Cordwainer Smith, entitled "C.Moira's Choice", that appeared in Ray Gun Revival.
