ConFuzzled 2015
ConFuzzled 2015 was the eighth iteration of the ConFuzzled convention. It was held over May 22-26, 2015, at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham, England.[1]
The theme, announced during the ConFuzzled 2014 closing ceremonies, was "Wonderland", exploring "the mysterious and peculiar insanity contained within the works of Lewis Carroll".[2] The guests of honour were cartoon artist Henrieke and Jeff ‘Yak’ Minter (veteran of the UK games industry).[3]

Registration[edit]
Full pricing details were revealed with the launch of the 2015 website on August 8, 2014.[4] Registration options for 2015 were the same as in previous years, with attending-only and residential tickets, both of which could be upgraded with "Plus" and "Sponsor" options for an extra £15 or £50 respectively.
The basic "attending only" ticket increased from £70 to £80. The basic residential ticket cost between £270 and £510 per person (based on two people sharing a room) depending on the room type (which varied from a standard double/twin up to a Junior Suite), and included breakfast and access to the hotel gym and pool.
As in previous years, an "early bird" discount of £10 applied to registrations made and paid for by January 7, 2015.
Registration officially opened at 2000BST on September 1, 2014.[5]
Registration closed at 2000BST on May 14, 2015, and the final attendee statistics showed a total of 1223 completed registrations from 28 different countries - a 13% increase on the previous year.[6]

The convention's final attendance figure was 1,228.[7]
Charity[edit]
On October 18 2014, it was announced that changes had been made to the convention's charity selection policies and ConFuzzled was seeking suggestions from attendees for a charity to support for the 2015 convention.[8]
On February 26 2015, the selected charity was revealed to be Fat Fluffs Rabbit Rescue and Rehome [9]
On January 9th, 2016, it was announced that ConFuzzled 2015 raised a total of £13552 for their charity.[10]
Events[edit]
New for 2015, it was possible for attendees to suggest an event via the registration system.[11]
