Chris "Sparf" Williams (born December 1, 1982)[1] is an actor, furry writer, and fursuiter who lives in Washington, D.C., U.S.A.[2]


Sparf's fursona is a green wolf with some fox-like markings and a black eyepatch.[3] His fursuit, depicting his fursona, was built by Happy Tails.[4]


Sparf started out in computer science, before switching to the creative realm of the theatre. He holds an Associates degree in Computer Networking from Mountain Empire Community College, a Bachelor’s in Speech/Theatre with a History minor from East Tennessee State University, and a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the Catholic University of America.[3]

Sparf has been a furry since around 1998, but he only really about the fandom and became a participating member around 2008.[3] This was the year that he attended his first Anthrocon convention.


Sparf is a member of the Furry Writers' Guild, and he has had stories published in the Rocket City Fur Meet, Furnal Equinox, and Further Confusion convention books, as well as the erotic anthology Will of the Alpha, from FurPlanet[5]

He is also head producer, and has written several scripts for, the fan-produced audio drama series Star Trek: Lost Frontier.[5]

Voice work[edit]

As a voice-over talent, Sparf offers his services as a story narrator and full-cast voice mixer. He has appeared as a guest reader on the Anthrodreams podcast, reading several stories, including The Necromouser by Mary E. Lowd.[5]


Sparf is on the staff of Fur the 'More as Director of Programming.[6]
