The CatCollection website was founded by RedCat as an extension of his Yahoo! group called RedCollection. The group was deleted, but a new group, CatCollection, created as an alternative.

The species listed on the front page of CatCollection are Cheetah, Leopard, Lion, Puma, and Tiger. Users can freely upload content; pictures and videos appear daily in the "New Photos" section of the website.
