Camping Paws is an annual furry camping event which takes place at the Capoxi water dam, in the community of Jilotzingo, State of Mexico, Mexico. The first edition was in 2017.

At the beginning of 2017, a little group of furries from Mexico City went to a camp just outside the city. However, the group saw that the organization was not very good, so they decided to organize their own camp.

The venue chosen was the Capoxi water dam, Jilotzingo, in the State of Mexico. Only an hour and a half from Mexico city, this place had an ideal environment for recreation; an open space, cabins and a little lake.

In the middle of the same year, the camp was first held. There were aproximately 25 attendees, 14 of them with fursuits. Considered a success, it was decided to hold the camp every year and not limit it to just a group of friends.

In 2018, Camping Paws will be held over the weekend of March 31 to April 1.[1]
