Bremen Avenue Experience is a promotional animated video that appeared on Cartoon Network on May 25, 2008. Several animated shorts have since been made as interstitial cartoons on Cartoon Network and Boomerang. It features a rock band, consisting of an anthropomorphic dog (Simon) on electric guitar, anthropomorphic cat (Jessica) on bass guitar, anthropomorphic rooster (Tanner) on drums, and a anthropomorphic donkey (Barrett) on keyboard.
The title and characters are most likely derived from the Town Musicians of Bremen, a German fairy tale recorded by the Brothers Grimm. The fairy tale and its characters have also been used in past animated and artistic works.
