Bookshelf Bear is a Canadian distributor and seller of furry literature. Founded by Potoroo and Timbehr in late 2011, and launched in March 2012, Bookshelf Bear sells books at Canadian furry conventions and online.

Their website officially opened in 2013 July 14.[1]

As of 2015 April 20[2]

The Facebook page reported the organization was in hibernation. Conversations with Potoroo at the 2016 Furnal Equinox indicated[citation needed] it likely wasn't waking up again, and as of late 2016 the domain is listed as available.[citation needed]
