Blue Forest (city)

The city of Blue Forest is the setting for the homoerotic fiction series Blue Forest by K. M. Hirosaki. An industrial urban dystopia, slightly futuristic, characterized by a permanent sense of gloom and hopelessness.

The city itself is something of a semi-autonomous city-state that is not part of any province of the nation that it belongs to. The Legislative Assembly does have a liaison to the city for official government matters, but the federal government pays little attention to the city.

Notable locations include the Spinning Disk, Spanfront University, and the Duhamel Building.
