The Labrador Retriever ("Labrador" or "Lab" for short) is the most popular breed of dog (by registered ownership) in both the United States and the United Kingdom. As such, it is one of the most commonly found dog breeds in the furry fandom, next to Siberian Huskies and German Shepherds. Furries generally choose Labs for their common usage, as well as their general playful personalities.
