Basel Fur Meet

The Basel Fur Meet (BFM) is a one-day furmeet in Basel, Switzerland. It is organized by Akeyla and Blue Panther. It took place in November from 2004-2009 on the last day of the Basler Herbstmesse (Basel Autumn Fair). Participants have come from Switzerland, Germany and Austria. It did not take place in 2010.[1]
The meet begins shortly before noon with a walk through the old town of Basel. It continues with a ferry crossing of the Rhine and a tour of the Rummel market area. After celebrations in Rummel, the group meets in a fine restaurant, and the evening is usually continued with specialty drinks.
