History

420furs.org was created as Bakedfurs.org in August 10th, 2007 by Bad Karma Networks. In June of 2008 it changed names to 420furs.org, citing an intent to stir up new users and content as well as facilitate the manual migration of its numerous e-mail accounts to a new hosting solution. Its target audience includes anyone in the fandom who does or supports the right to self-administer drugs. it To quote the site's About Us page:

420furs.Org is a non-profit site that serves the furry drug using community, founded on the belief that censorship is a scourge and education equates to safety.
