AuroraBorealia or simply Aurora (real name Amanda), is an furry artist with a cat fursona.

Aurora is an 19 year old artist from Illinois who before leaving college was an Art major with a minor in Computer Sciences, both she intends to pursue in her later life. Aurora is known by others as rather quiet and very soft spoken. As such she is not one to ask questions or talk to people very much. Because of this she encourages people confront her for friendship or if they want to know more about her.

Aurora is an avid fan of the Pokemon series, as well as the Legend of Zelda series. Aurora is also slowly getting into the Xbox and Xbox 360 franchise and gaming industry.

As her college minor suggested, Aurora is intensely interested in computers, computer sciences, and computer software. Aurora's software interest lies in research and removal and malicious software (Malware) and Viruses.

Aurora refers her fursona as Mander Pander, and identified her species as an Siamese Cat. She also possesses a secondary character known as Aurora the Succubus, as well as a second fursona known as Pepperon identified as a Shiba Inu.

Aurora found the fandom through a co-worker at an old job in November of 2008. She was originally on the account "AuroraBorealis42" on FurAffinity.

She switched to her more known alias in June of 2009 to keep her alias she used from DeviantArt. Aurora is slowly making a name for herself on FurAffinity and hopes to gain many more friends from this fandom rather then enemies with her sometimes straightforward behaviour. Aurora posts most of her art on FurAffinity and submits a variety of artwork which mostly involves her fursona in random acts or poses.

Aurora attended Midwest FurFest 2009 which was her first furry convention. She will also be attending Furry Connection North 2010, as well as AnthroCon 2010.
