Arthur (animation)

Arthur is a long-running (1996-present) American animated children's television series that is shown on PBS. It is based on the Arthur children's book series (1976-present) by American children's author Marc Brown.
Both series focus on the life and times of 8-year-old Arthur the Aardvark, renamed in the television series as Arthur Timothy Read, and his family and friends. The television series was also the basis for the spin-off series Postcards from Buster.
