AquatiFur is a furry convention which takes place in Wisconsin, USA.


AquatiFur was first announced on Twitter on May 4, 2017,[1] and with a website created by May 14.



The first AquatiFur took place over October 20–22, 2017,[2] at the Kalahari Resort and Conference Center in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. There were 533 attendees and $5,018 was raised for charity. [3]

The Guests of Honor were Furvilla, Ino, Omnom Nomnomnom, Majira Strawberry, Booker, Recca, NeonSlushie, Fox Amoore, and Pepper Coyote.[4][5]

The results of the AquatiFur dance competition was Fuze in 1st place, Molokai in 2nd place, and Cookie & Toyagama tied for 3rd place.

2017 Staff[edit]



AquatiFur 2018 took place January 11–13, 2019,[6] at the Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, with 463 attendees.[6] It was delayed to 2019 due to the change in venue, with an asterisk added to the convention title to acknowledge the date discrepancy. It raised $5276.69 for charity Feathered Friends.[7]

The guests of honor were, Vix N dwnq, The Phoenix Nest, Multicolor Bark, Ifus, Fox Amoore, Pepper Coyote, and Recca.

AquatiFur 2019 took place on October 11–13, 2019, with the theme "Sail the Haunted Seas!".[8] The guests of honor were Chromamancer and Kai [9] and the charity remains Feathered Friends. There were 560 attendees and $7,090 was raised for charity. [10]


Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, AquatiFur 2020 was cancelled and moved to 2021. The announcement occurred on July 16, 2020. [11]


AquatiFur 2020 Island of Squeak, having been moved to 2021 occurred November 12–14, 2021 at the Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells, WI. 594 Attendees, $6571 dollars raised for Feathered Friends, and 128 suits in the fursuit parade. [12]


AquatiFur 2022 took place on October 28–30, 2022, with the theme "Plush Party," at the Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells, WI. The Guests of Honor were SkitzyBean and Cosmell Cosplay.


AquatiFur 2023 took place on October 27–29, 2023, with the theme "OktofurFest," at the Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells, WI. The Guests of Honor were Fursewna Studios and Wooperworks.


AquatiFur 2024, themed "Journey to Atlantis," is scheduled for November 8–10, 2024.[13]
