[edit] About the character Chilly

A character design of Chilly.

The name "Chilly," came about not so much as a "fan name," but from the fact that her body temperature is often very low. The warmer months help how she feels. In 1997, she wandered upon a bulletin community, alt.tv.animaniacs, which involved many other people with interest in the animation industry (fans, and a few other artists). She later stumbled upon an IRC community of the same genre from this group. The user name of "Chillymouse" was chosen. The majority of its users had animal and cartoon related characters they wished to portray themselves as.

The character created, "Chilly," is a fluffy steel-grey rodent with blue eyes. She's usually wearing some form of blue v-neck t-shirt, and baggy blue jeans. The character is often referred to as a mouse, but is more so a "generic rodent," dubbed a "grousse."

[edit] Other characters

Edmund smells of raspberries and vanilla. He loves aircraft, wears an aviator's scarf and goggles, and has been featured on the Funday PawPet Show.

Occasionally, Chilly also portrays a silly puppy mascot character known as Rollie Mutt (temporarily retired) and a purple and white spotted skunk named Edmund (seen to the right) for children of all ages at various freelance and volunteer gigs. Rollie, who usually sports an Aloha shirt, was created after Chilly heard that friends from the Funday PawPet Show were volunteering at Give Kids the World. The character was completed after just a short two weeks of work in December of 2000, and premiered for friends in January of 2001.

Additional characters of Chilly's include a husky named Anita, a red panda named Sunny, and a version of her personal character, dubbed Paradox Chilly.
