The Anaheim Fur House was a furry house located at 616 S. Adria in Anaheim, California, U.S.A. It was home to Rainhopper Roo, Waggs Wolf, and Alphawolf, and was the site of a number of very large parties, often called minicons due to their size and layout.

In the past, the Anaheim Fur House held parties which typically drew 70-110 furs at a time. Rainhopper, Waggs, Alphawolf and Niles all contributed to preparing the house for each of these parties.

The house, which is just a few miles from Disneyland, is roughly 1700 sq ft and, in its current configuration, houses three main social areas:

  • The Living Room is home to the main social gatherings at the parties. This, in conjunction with the back patio, is where most visitors meet.
  • The Theater Room is a 20ft-by-20ft beanbag-filled plushie room containing a full-scale theater with a 120" projection screen and a surround-sound system that is kept calibrated by Alphawolf and Kips.
This theater is used to show movies that vary in range from completely furry to completely-off-the-wall horror films from the 1940s.
  • The Garage has been converted into a gaming area with a second projector that is set up for events with full screen tourneys. Along the rest of the walls are stations for the Wii, 360, PS2, and a dedicated rockband station.

Attendees to the AFH have sometimes brought professional light and fog rigs, and offered a full DJ setup for the parties.

Historically, the AFH parties have always been (and will always be) G-rated drug-and-booze-free parties. Several attendees have chosen this venue to introduce their parents to the furry fandom. The Hosts welcome people from all walks of life, from furry to non-furry to celebrity alike. Some furs have come from as far away as the other side of the country to attend parties at the AFH. Califur staff meetings have also been held there.[1]

The AFH was also the venue of the wedding between Rainhopper and Pouchhopper Roo, and a memorial of this event can be found hanging by the mantle, in the form of a hand-drawn piece of artwork by Skadjer.
