Amp's real name is Brian V. Persaud (The V Stands For Vidal) and he is Puerto Rican and Guyanese. He was born in New York and attends a medium sized college in the Bronx as of 2008 to 2012. His major in college is Computer Science while his minor is Graphic Design.
